Carmen Cristina González de Molino LL.M.

Carmen Cristina González de Molino, “Cristina”, obtained her degree in Law and Political Science from the Santa Maria La Antigua Catholic University in 1993 and in 2002 completed her studies, receiving a Master's degree in Commercial Law from the same university.

Cristina began her legal career occupying the position of Assistant Magistrate in the Supreme Court of Justice and later, she was an assistant to the Attorney General of the Nation.

She also served, within the Public Ministry, in various positions, such as Assistant to the Delegate Prosecutor of the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation (today the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office), assistant Circuit Prosecutor, Circuit Prosecutor in Charge and Municipal Prosecutor of Panama.

After ten years in the public sector, Cristina joined the firm in 2004, taking charge of the Department of Trademarks and Patents of our firm.

With the experience acquired in the various positions held, Cristina has a great handle on judicial proceedings, being an integral part of the Litigation Department.

She was director and secretary of the Panamanian Association of Intellectual Property Law (APADEPI).

She is currently the president of APADEPI for the period 2023-2025.

She is a member of the National Bar Association of Panama, being recognized in 2023 as one of the leading women in the profession.

She is also president of the Intellectual Property Law Commission of the National Bar Association.

It is an active member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) since 2005.

She is considered among the leading Intellectual Property lawyers in Panama, according to various publications such as WTR1000, Leader League, among others.
