Dr. Edgardo Molino Mola

Dr. Edgardo Molino Mola obtained his degree in Law and Political Science from the University of Panama in 1963, ranking First in his class; Later, in 1965, he obtained the title of Doctor of Law from the Central University of Madrid, Cum Laude.

Dr. Molino Mola is currently the Senior Partner of the firm and advises our main clients. Due to his extensive experience, great knowledge and prestige, he is considered a benchmark in the Panamanian legal profession.

He was University Professor since 1971, reaching the position of Dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Panama.

From 1990 to the year 2000 he was appointed to the position of Magistrate of the Supreme Court of Justice of Panama.

Due to the great respect that Dr. Molino Mola inspires in the Panamanian academic and legal community, he was appointed as Principal Member of the Special Commission for Amendments to the Constitution in 2012 and was elected President of the Codifying Commission of the preliminary draft of the Code of Constitutional Procedure in 2016.

He has given numerous conferences in Latin America and Europe and is the author of various works on Constitutional and Administrative Procedural Law.

For his academic merits, he was decorated by the Federal Republic of Germany.

He is an Honorary Member of the National Bar Association of Panama, which awarded him the Harmodio Arias medal, which is reserved for "the distinguished professional in the field of legal education and who has contributed to the union and the profession through books that have helped to broaden the knowledge of legal professionals”.

Dr. Edgardo Molino Mola is considered one of the most respected jurists in the country and is frequently interviewed by the media to learn his legal opinion on various issues of national interest.
